The Creative Coalition’s Fantasy Talk Show Special
Talk Show Unlike Any Other Features Cancer Patient Ambassadors and their Favorite Celebrities in the Hot Seat
October 14, 2020 (NEW YORK, NY) – The Creative Coalition will host a talk show unlike any other — past or present — in a one-night-only charity event on Wednesday, October 21st featuring some of today’s biggest stars. The Creative Coalition Fantasy Talk Show Special will be hosted by patients living with glioblastoma (GBM), a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer, who will interview their favorite celebrities, including Tim Daly, Edie Falco, Jim Gaffigan, Rosie O’Donnell, Zachary Levi, Sarah Paulson, Bob Saget, Iliza Shlesinger, Aisha Tyler, and more.
These GBM patients, who are heroes of their own stories, will be picking up the microphone and putting their favorite stars in the talk show hot seat. The event, produced by actor and producer Erich Bergen, will feature celebrities in unfiltered and unplugged conversations; as well as surprise visitors from the music, television, film, and media arenas who will be popping in to provide mentoring tips to the budding talk show hosts.
The evening promises to transcend the computer screen with a private “Zoom Room After-Party” and home-delivered dinner, during which attendees will have the chance to dine and “mingle” with hosts, celebrity guests, and other influencers.
“It’s going to be an extraordinary night of art bringing the human touch back into events,” said Robin Bronk, CEO of The Creative Coalition. “The Creative Coalition Fantasy Talk Show underscores how the Arts bring back a 3-D human, soulful, and emotional experience into today’s gatherings.”
“We are proud to support this event and The Creative Coalition,” said Pritesh Shah, Novocure’s Chief Commercial Officer. “The power of the Arts cannot be underestimated and this night brings to light the unique stories of incredible individuals who – despite the greatest health challenges — continue to live their lives to the fullest.”
