What We Do

The Creative Coalition sponsors forums for the discussion of vital issues such as arts funding, education policy, First Amendment rights, violence in America, the role of the media, campaign finance reform, obesity, and other topics of broad concern. These events ensure a balanced approach that includes concerned, informed members of the creative professions.

What This Does

These events are opportunities for experts to engage in freewheeling, multi-partisan exchanges that illuminate these urgent, complex topics.

What We Do

The Creative Coalition tackles issues of direct importance to the arts and entertainment community, including First Amendment rights, public funding for the arts, and arts education in the public schools. The Creative Coalition testifies before Congress, sponsors awareness-building events, actively participates in the Democratic and Republican conventions, and plays a role in presenting the creative community’s views on these central issues.

What You Can Do

Your support ensures these issues are at the forefront of the national debate—and that our community’s voice is heard. Membership helps us fight for issues, sponsor special events, and pursue our mission to inform and educate. Your support for The Creative Coalition ensures that the collective voice of the arts and entertainment industry will be heard.

What We Do

The Creative Coalition offers special services for its supporters in their public roles as advocates and spokespeople. The Creative Coalition believes that informed advocacy is effective advocacy, and encourages ongoing education to best exercise our rights as citizens in public settings.

What This Does

It gives supporters an opportunity to participate in forums, seminars, and briefings aimed at strengthening their voice on national issues. The Creative Coalition staff can also help supporters research issues of personal importance and frame arguments that can be used effectively in public appearances and presentations.
