‘VAXXED AND WAXED’ SENIORS RUN WILD IN THE CREATIVE COALITION’S NEW PSA URGING YOUNG PEOPLE TO GET VACCINATED
September 7, 2021 (NEW YORK, NY) – Fully vaccinated seniors are living it up in The Creative Coalition’s latest “Be There. This Is Your Shot.” PSA urging young people to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The new spot, featuring the voice of “Dynasty” star Elizabeth Gillies, shows dozens of “vaxxed and waxed” old folk partying around a pool and living their best lives thanks to safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines. “Imagine a world in which everyone is vaccinated and your grandparents can live their best lives…again,” the spot says. The PSA features music by Grammy Award-nominated musical duo Sofi Tukker, who donated their Billboard #1 hit “Best Friend” (feat. NERVO, The Knocks & Alisa Ueno) for the cause. The spot was developed as part of The Creative Coalition’s National Blue Ribbon Task Force to Stem COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy, in partnership with Yale University School of Public Health.
