WATCH WHAT YOU WATCH The Creative Coalition Shoots Media Literacy PSA

Los Angeles, CA (August 24, 2010): The Creative Coalition begins shooting a public service announcement (PSA) aimed at underscoring the importance of helping children make educated choices in media viewing.  Directed by actor and Co-President of The Creative Coalition, Tim Daly, the PSA is being produced in partnership with the Girl Scouts of the USA, the National Association of Broadcasters and the National Cable & Telecommunications Association.

“Our society has learned to pay attention to what our children consume nutritionally.  In today’s world, we also need to help them understand the media they are consuming.  The goal of our PSA campaign, Watch What You Watch, is to emphasize the importance of providing children with the tools and resources they need to be literate in today’s media abundant world,” said CEO of The Creative Coalition Robin Bronk.
