The Creative Coalition’s Annual Arts Day on Capitol Hill

Washington, DC, May 2, 2014 – Today, The Creative Coalition’s Arts Team will be on Capitol Hill to focus national leaders on the efficacy of championing the arts.  “It’s not a red issue, it’s not a blue issue — arts is a national issue,” said The Creative Coalition CEO Robin Bronk. “We’re here in Washington, D.C. to protect a national treasure. Fund the arts in America, and we’re ensuring a future for economic development.  For every $1 spent on the arts, $7 comes back into our communities,” Ms. Bronk continued.

The day concludes by raising awareness at A-List Communications’ Supper Suite by STK which features menus specially designed by STK DC’s culinary team.  The Honorary Co-Host Committee includes Majority Leader Harry Reid, Senator Barbara Boxer, Senator Richard Burr, Senator Mike Johanns, Senator Tim Johnson, Senator Patrick Leahy, Senator Barbara Mikulski, Senator Lisa Murkowski, Senator Jack Reed, Senator Mark Warner, and Senator Roger Wicker, among others.  This charity event is graciously supported by STK DC, Fiji Water, Maestro Dobel Tequila, and Blue Moon Brewing.
