The Creative Coalition Names Chairs for 2008 Political Conventions at Summer Celebration

Los Angeles, CA (August 13, 2007) – The Creative Coalition (TCC) will officially announce its Chairs to the 2008 Democratic and Republican National Conventions at an event in Los Angeles on August 14.   Actors Tim Daly and Kerry Washingtonand writer/director Sue Kramer will lead TCC’s Convention efforts designed to bring issues of importance to the forefront of the presidential campaign.  Mr. Daly and Ms. Washington will serve as hosts of the event at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

As the nonprofit, nonpartisan public advocacy arm of the arts and entertainment industry, The Creative Coalition works to mobilize and educate the arts community on issues of national importance with special focus on First Amendment rights, public education, media literacy and arts advocacy.
