In association with the The Creative Coaltion and Eli Lilly, the National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL) will host a reception with influential members of the entertainment industry, public policy leaders and elected officials to honor African American leaders.

Gospel Hill is a film by actor/director Giancarlo Esposito that reflects the power of the human spirit to overcome the pain and hatred of racial and generational division. Cast includes Danny Glover, Angela Bassett, Julia Stiles, Taylor Kitsch, Nia Long and the RZA.
- Rebuilding the US Economy Brunch
Tambien Restaurant (250 Steele St., Denver) 9:30 – 11:00 am
In association with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), The Creative Coalition will host a morning reception to discuss the Employee Free Choice Act and the key role it plays in rebuilding the American economy.
Housing in America Luncheon
LOCATION TBD 12:00 – 1:30 pm
The National Association of Realtors will honor the Colorado Foreclosure Hotline, an initiative committed to referring homeowners in some state of delinquency or foreclosure to a toll-free phone number that connects callers with local housing counseling agencies for free assistance.

The Creative Coalition will host a reception honoring Bank of America’s Environmental Initiative and their commitment to help stop the negative effects of climate change.

The Creative Coalition and Screen Media Films will honor civil rights icons as well as movies with a message and the filmmakers who bring them to the silver screen. Reception also features highlights from The Fugees’ Pras Michel’s Skid Row which addresses America’s homeless andBig Rig, a documentary addressing the plight of the American trucking industry.
- State of the Housing Industry Luncheon

In association with the National Apartment Association, The Creative Coalition will host a luncheon with representatives of the housing industry to discuss balanced housing policy issues in the nation today.
Working Together: Artists & Policymakers United to Help Diabetes Patients

In association with Eli Lilly, The Creative Coalition will host a luncheon with prominent members of the entertainment industry, policy leaders, elected officials, business leaders and national opinion leaders to increase awareness of the challenges facing patients with diabetes.

In association with Nehemiah Corp. of America, The Creative Coalition will honor actress Annette Bening and preview highlights from the soon-to-be-released Screen Media Films documentary narrated by Ms. Bening, 14 Women, which chronicles the life and times of the 14 female Senators in the 109th Congress.
