The Creative Coalition Brings Hollywood and Washington Together in New Hampshire to Tackle the Presidential Debate
New York, NY (May 30 2007) – As the dust settles from this Sunday’s CNN Presidential Candidate debate in New Hampshire, The Creative Coalition brings a team of political pundits and activists from the entertainment industry together for a straight-talking, both sides of the aisle look at the election. The Dialogue will be moderated by Lawrence O’Donnell, Jr. (The West Wing, Big Love, The McLaughlin Group) and feature syndicated columnist Arianna Huffington, Republican pollster Dr. Frank Luntz, The Nation’s Eric Alterman, and CNN’s Bill Schneider. All will engage in a lively discussion on issues surrounding the Presidential election and offer an in-depth look at the debates. Also in attendance and hosting the event will be actor and The Creative Coalition Co-President Joe Pantoliano, and actors Tim Daly, Peter Coyote, Hill Harper, Tim Blake Nelson, Wendie Malick , Richard Schiff, Cady Huffman, Hallie Eisenberg and several other notables from the entertainment industry.
As the nonprofit, nonpartisan public advocacy arm of the arts and entertainment industry, The Creative Coalition (www.thecreativecoalition.org) works to mobilize and educate the arts community on issues of national importance with special focus on those involving First Amendment rights, public education, and arts advocacy.
“This presidential election cycle is unique– the race is wide open and it’s the first time without an incumbent in more than 50 years,” said Robin Bronk, The Creative Coalition’s Executive Director.
