The Creative Coalition announces Alcon Entertainment to take part in Spotlight Initiative Program

Alcon’s Upcoming Film Speedboys becomes Spotlight Initiative Film

Los Angeles, CA (February 29, 2012) – The Creative Coalition announces Alcon Entertainment will become a sponsor of the nonprofit’s distinguished Spotlight Initiative banner. Under this sponsorship, The Creative Coalition will utilize cause-related components of Alcon’s film slate including their upcoming project, SPEEDBOYS

The Creative Coalition created the Spotlight Initiative in 2008 with a unique and specific goal in mind: make a positive difference in the world.   Under The Spotlight Initiative, The Creative Coalition has been involved in a series of films which achieve that goal by using the messages in cinema to support issue agendas.

“Today, our citizenry demands socially conscious activism from the products and companies that it supports, and entertainment is no exception,” commented CEO of The Creative Coalition Robin Bronk. “Alcon Entertainment understands the power, inspiration and influence of film on issues that serve the common good.  We are excited about a film production company that is socially conscious.”

“We are pleased and delighted to announce this sponsorship of The Creative Coalition,” says Alcon’s co-founders and co-Chief Executive Officers, Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson. “We can think of no better organization to involve with Alcon films’ cause-related campaigns.  We know that movies have an enormous impact on society.  We look forward to doing well by doing good with The Creative Coalition.  We look forward to helping them present new and meaningful ways to engage film audiences around the world.”
