WHAT: The Creative Coalition reunites two of today’s notable actors with the teachers who made a powerful impact in their lives at the annual Teachers Making a Difference Luncheon. The event, established in 2008, pays homage to the unsung heroes of education who make a lasting impression on generations of students. Expect lots of laughter and tears as these outstanding educators reminisce with their “star” students during this live, unplugged and unfiltered reunion event. The Creative Coalition’s Teachers Making a Difference Luncheon is made possible through generous support from Bing, the search engine from Microsoft.
WHO: Alfre Woodard and her teacher (AND sister) Marionette Gibson from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Rob Morrow and his teacher Barbara Lowery from Hialeah, Florida. Wilmer Valderrama moderates with The Creative Coalition’s President Tim Daly hosting.
