MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYERS TRUST JOINS THE CREATIVE COALITION’S “PROTECT THE HEROES” CAMPAIGN WITH $150,000 CONTRIBUTION TO HELP LOCAL HOSPITALS FIGHT COVID-19
April 28, 2020 (NEW YORK, NY) – The Creative Coalition today applauded the Major League Baseball Players Trust for its $150,000 contribution to “Protect The Heroes.”
Said The Creative Coalition CEO Robin Bronk:
“The Creative Coalition is so proud to stand alongside the Major League Baseball Players Trust to Protect The Heroes and help local hospitals get urgently needed supplies and support services to fight COVID-19. We commend the Players Trust for its support and deep generosity that will help take this campaign to the next level and save lives.”
Started by The Creative Coalition with support from the American Hospital Association (AHA) and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), Protect The Heroes is a national initiative to raise desperately needed money for critical hospital resources, including hundreds of millions of masks and other materials for the physicians, nurses, and caregivers who are treating coronavirus patients and at greater risk due to a nationwide shortage of PPE. Individuals can visit www.ProtectTheHeroes.org and, with a single click, be connected to the website of a local hospital of their choosing and contribute to hospital emergency relief funds.
