New podcast spotlighting stories of opportunity, discovery, and courage premieres June 15
June 15, 2021 (NEW YORK, NY) – The Creative Coalition today debuted “On the Edge,” a new podcast spotlighting stories of opportunity, discovery, and courage – hosted by The Creative Coalition CEO Robin Bronk.
In episode 1, “On the Edge” features a conversation with Emmy Award-nominated actor Kelly Jenrette, whose short film, “You Just Big Boned,” was recently selected as a 2021 Spotlight Initiative grantee by The Creative Coalition. Jenrette shares the genesis of the semi-autobiographical film of a young Black girl who goes on a journey to combat the last whispered disease – obesity – and free herself from her family’s “big boned” label.
