Honorees to be fêted at the 17th Annual Spotlight Initiative Awards Gala Dinner in Park City on Saturday evening, January 20th
Park City, UT (January 10, 2024): The Creative Coalition announced today the 2024 honorees at the 17th Annual Spotlight Initiative Awards Gala Dinner, happening in Park City on Saturday evening, January 20th. Honorees include actors Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor (Origin, King Richard, Exhibiting Forgiveness), Andra Day (The United States vs. Billie Holiday, Exhibiting Forgiveness), Ed Harris (“Westworld,” Top Gun: Maverick, Love Lies Bleeding), Jennifer Grey (“Dollface,” A Real Pain), Lucy Lawless (“Xena: Warrior Princess,” Never Look Away), and Jeff Zimbalist (Favela Rising, Skywalkers: A Love Story). A special inaugural NextGen Spotlight Initiative Award will be presented to Keyla Monterroso Mejia (“Curb Your Enthusiasm,” Suncoast).
The highly anticipated event during the Film Festival in Park City honors esteemed individuals in the arts and entertainment industry whose work showcases vision, imagination and originality through their independent filmmaking.
The Spotlight Initiative Awards were initiated in 2007 and honor talented individuals whose work has a profound impact on the world of independent film.
