Talk About It

Last week, a Congressional Subcommittee (U.S. House Interior Appropriations) cut 2024 funding for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) by 10% in the Appropriations bill, with the Subcommittee Chairman characterizing it as an “ugly bill.”

Quite simply, funding for the NEA is distributed to every Congressional District in the nation to support local arts programs in communities across the country.

The Creative Coalition urges our members to oppose these cuts. Let your voice be heard! Below are some suggested posts; these are great for Twitter or Threads, but if possible, please lend your voice – literally – on Instagram stories, Reels, TikTok, etc.
