Spotlight Initiative Gala to Light Up Park City

Connie Britton, Jay Duplass, Laura Prepon, Julia Ormond, and Barbara Kopple named 2017 Honorees to receive Awards

Park City, UT (January 10, 2017) – Today, The Creative Coalition announces this year’s honorees headlining the 2017 Spotlight Initiative Awards Gala Dinner to be held at the Kia Supper Suite during the upcoming Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Established in 2007, The Creative Coalition Spotlight Initiative Awards Gala brings together the most significant in the entertainment industry to celebrate the art and craft of independent film.  “What better time to pay homage to the most independent form of art in the film industry.  The newly minted Creative Coalition’s Right to Bear Arts campaign, as well as the Spotlight Initiative Award, was created to shine a light on the efficacy of arts and those who create it,” said CEO of The Creative Coalition Robin Bronk.

The event will be a private gala awards dinner hosted at the Kia Supper Suite, a pop-up takeover of Firewood Park City on Main Street.  Kia, Maestro Dobel® Tequila, Topo Chico, and Johndrow Vineyards will be supporting sponsors of the annual gala event.
