Robin Bronk, CEO of The Creative Coalition, Joins IFFS Advisory Board

The Creative Coalition is proud to announce that CEO Robin Bronk has joined the advisory board of the International Film Festival Summit (IFFS).  “Robin is a leader and spokesperson in the entertainment community and has also mobilized many artists to advocate on critical First Amendment matters,” stated Laurie B. Kirby, the Executive Director of IFFS.

In accepting the honor, Robin remarked, “The art and craft of independent film cannot be underestimated. Indie film can influence exponentially as evidenced in the increased credibility Vice President Al Gore enjoyed when he took his message about global warming to the screen. The influence of the indie silver screen reaches from the grassroots to the grasstops, and it is for this very reason that we need to marshal resources to support the independent film festival market. It is a business that ensures that this very important form of art thrives and survives. I am proud and excited to be serving on the IFFS Advisory Board.”

The 8th Annual International Film Festival Summit will be held from       December 4-6, 2011 in Austin, TX.
