The Creative Coalition, U.S. Congress and the Benjamin Banneker Memorial Fund join to celebrate the DVD release of Honeydripper
Washington, DC (June 18, 2008) – The Creative Coalition will partner with Member of Congress – including U.S. Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton, Harry Reid and Mary Landrieu – the Benjamin Banneker Memorial Fund will honor John Sayles, the iconic filmmaker and Oscar-nominated screenwriter, and Emmy award-winning producer Charles S. Dutton for their achievements, including an homage to African-American history with the recent DVD release of the filmHoneydripper.
