The inaugural Seconding The FirstÔ event is held at The Town Hall in New York City. It is an evening dedicated to celebrating the First Amendment through a multi-media and stage presentation. Forty participants read, perform and introduce the audience to materials that have been banned, censored or contested in America over the past 100 years. MSNBC tapes the show and airs a condensed version several times.
