New York City (December 13, 2006) – Matthew Reeve, son of The Creative Coalition Co-Founder and actor Christopher Reeve, will participate in the 2006 Christopher Reeve First Amendment Award Ceremony this Monday evening, December 18, 2006 in New York City.  Legendary journalist Charlie Rose will present this Award to actor and activist Sean Penn.  The 2006 Spotlight Awards will also be presented that evening to Marcia Gay Harden, Heather Graham, Harvey Keitel, Branford Marsalis,and Rhonda Mims, President of the ING Foundation.  Award presenters and other confirmed attendees include Laurence Fishburne, Kerry Washington, Joe Pantoliano, Tony Goldwyn, Matthew Modine, Giancarlo Esposito, Richard Schiff, Jason Ritter, Tim Daly and Tamara Tunie.

The 2006 Spotlight and Christopher Reeve First Amendment Awards are the centerpiece of a gala evening that will benefit The Creative Coalition.  The Gala takes place on Monday evening, December 18, 2006 in New York City.  The event is co-hosted by Gotham magazine and will be held at Duvet (45 W. 21st Street).
