Santa Monica, CA (November 2, 2012) – Today, The Creative Coalition and Monterey Media host a luncheon during this week’s American Film Market (AFM). Participants at this intimate gathering include the “fiercely independent” women who lead the indie film market as well as actresses and others who support the art and craft of independent filmmaking.

The gathering is being held as The Creative Coalition announces several new developments in the organization’s Spotlight Initiative program.  The Creative Coalition’s Spotlight Initiative supports independent films with messages that can make a difference in the national and international agenda.  It is an integrated partnership that champions the art and craft of independent filmmaking by expanding a film’s outreach to leaders in business, entertainment, arts, and policy.
