Highlights from Hollywood at Home featuring Grace Caroline Currey:

Something about [Shazam’s] Mary: “She was inspired by Judy Garland when she first was animated…she was the first female sidekick before Supergirl. I was the only actor who played both the human child form [of the character], as well as their superhero adult form.”

On how they molded the Mary costume to her body: “Getting to go through the process of them creating the costume on my body; with my body in mind; 3D scanning my body…It was surreal. I felt like a child just playing dress-up as a superhero. But the highest quality dress-up you can have.”

On flying: “You’ve got gravity, and you’re just sinking into it as you get lifted up…there’s bruising, and it’s bizarrely bad. But you just sort of suck it up and keep going.”

On doing her own stunts for Fall: “We were on wires and harnesses…I ended up doing all my stunts…I’m not an adrenaline junkie, but I almost turned into one. You do one stunt and surpass the fear and you’re like, ‘Oh, whoa, I have control over my human instinct towards fear. This is cool.’”
