ACTION ALERT: This Is Your Cue Speak Up for the Arts!
This is the week — The Arts are in the spotlight this week on Capitol Hill — and we need YOU. Both the House and Senate are reviewing the bill that funds the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) — and decisions are being made right now. We don’t yet know the final funding numbers or if there will be amendments that hurt the NEA — but YOUR VOICE WILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
4 Easy Ways to Help — Starting NOW:
- Call your Members of Congress: It only takes 60 seconds. Call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121. Ask to be connected to your Representative and Senators and say any version of this: “Hi, I’m a constituent. I’m asking you to support full funding for the National Endowment for the Arts in the Interior Appropriations Bill. Please support full funding for the National Endowment for the Arts in the Interior Appropriations Bill. The NEA matters to our jobs, our kids, and our communities.”

Why now? Because the NEA is more than a line item — it’s the engine behind community theaters, arts education, veteran healing programs, and cultural preservation in every single Congressional district. We’re artists, storytellers, and advocates — and this is our moment to lead. Let’s get loud. Let’s get seen. Let’s get funded. Every call and post counts.
