Los Angeles, CA (August 27, 2010): Today, The Creative Coalition continues to shoot a groundbreaking PSA campaign that brings together talent from episodic television, reality programming, film and music to emphasize the importance of helping children make educated choices in media viewing.
Watch What You Watch, directed by actor and Co-President of The Creative Coalition Tim Daly is being produced in partnership with the Girl Scouts of the USA, the National Association of Broadcasters, and the National Cable & Telecommunications Association.
“We’ve gotten a terrific response from the entertainment community. Participants are a diverse group of today’s ‘celebrity’ — everyone from young actors to musicians to reality stars to actors who are speaking out as parents, themselves,” said CEO of The Creative Coalition Robin Bronk. “The media is an extraordinary, powerful and influential resource. We need to ensure that our children are equipped to handle its power.”
Actor’s participating in filming include Felicity Huffman (“Desperate Housewives”), Betsy Brandt (“Breaking Bad”), Ayla Kell (“Make It or Break It”), Josie Loren (“Make It or Break It”), Seth Green (“Family Guy”), musical artist Chuck D, Kathryn Joosten (“Desperate Housewives”), Kaycee Stroh (High School Musical), and Carrie Ann Inaba (“Dancing With The Stars”), among others.
