Hollywood and Capitol Hill Come Together
To Underscore Need for Federal Funding of the Arts 

Washington, DC (April 25, 2017) –  The Creative Coalition’s #RightToBearArts Delegation, headed by the organization’s President, actor Tim Daly (“Madam Secretary”) and The Creative Coalition CEO Robin Bronk, along with actors Justin Bartha (The Hangover), Sarah Wayne Callies (“Prison Break”), Wendi McLendon-Covey (“The Goldbergs”), Chad Lowe (“Pretty Little Liars”), Kathrine Herzer (“Madam Secretary”), Keegan-Michael Key (“Key & Peele”), Alyssa Milano (“Mistresses”), Denis O’Hare (“American Horror Story”), Nick Sandow (“Orange Is the New Black”), Aaron Staton (“Mad Men”), Matt Walsh (“Veep”), and others TBA, will be on Capitol Hill next Friday, April 28th to advocate on the importance of the arts, art education, and the critical need to fund the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

In addition to meeting with Members of Congress, The Creative Coalition’s #RightToBearArts delegation will be meeting with White House Administration staff and will be visiting Walter Reed Hospital to learn about various arts therapy treatments being utilized to help wounded service men and women.

The #RightToBearArts Capitol Hill Advocacy Day concludes with a Gala Benefit Dinner co-hosted by the celebrity delegation, along with an Honorary Bi-Partisan Congressional Co-host Committee. The dinner is Co-Chaired by Todd Hitt (Kiddar Capital), Lori Gordon, and Michael Mimeles. The event is graciously sponsored by Hollywood on the Potomac at the Georgetown restaurant Flavio DC. Maestro Dobel Tequila, Blue Moon, Blackwing, and Line 39 Wines partner to make this official A-List Communications “Supper Suite.”
