Celebrities to Have Portraits Taken During Oscar Week for New Book by
The Creative Coalition and Warren-Tricomi
Los Angeles, CA (February 20, 2007): It’s definitely what’s on the inside that counts. And to reinforce this sentiment, The Creative Coalition and Warren-Tricomi are joining forces with some of the most famous names in the world to create an inspirational book that honors inner beauty. Tentatively titled The Beauty Within, this coffee table book (set to be published in 2008) will feature a compilation of original celebrity portraits, each of which will be accompanied by a personal quote from the celebrity describing what inner beauty means to him or her. ALL proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to The Creative Coalition.
In order to secure these original portraits, The Creative Coalition and Warren-Tricomi will be setting up at the Haven, the exclusive suite by in Los Angeles during Oscar Week. Celebrities who participate will be prepped by the renowned hair team of Joel Warren and Edward Tricomi and then have their photograph taken by cutting-edge polaroid artist/photographer Jeremy Kost. Already scheduled to participate are Sharon Stone, Kate Walsh, Stockard Channing, Kathy Bates, Marisa Tomei, Kerry Washington, Alan Cumming, Joe Pantoliano, and Francis Fisher.

Jeremy Kost has developed a unique approach to celebrity portrait photography with his Polaroid camera, quickly earning the reputation of the new ‘anti-paparazzi.’ Influenced by Warhol’s New York, he found inspiration in the eclectic and gritty characters and sites of New York’s famed underground East Village and Lower East Side. Kost was touched by the energy and honesty of these locations and found he could translate their character and integrity to his work with celebrities and the New York fashion elite, who have gravitated to his aesthetic. Where film, fashion and photography meet–takes the awards experience venue to a completely new level high above Beverly Hills February 21 through 23 with a unique partnership between Hachette Filipacchi Media and Classic Entertainment Group.
