Beginning tonight, The Creative Coalition brings a delegation from the entertainment industry to the DNC to advocate for public funding of the arts as an economic development resource.  Delegates include actor and President of The Creative Coalition Tim Daly (Emmy award-nominee, “Private Practice,” “Sopranos,” “Wings), Patricia Arquette (Emmy award-winner and Golden Globe- nominee, “Medium,” Ed Wood, Stigmata), Wayne Knight (“Seinfeld,” “The Exes,” “3rd Rock from the Sun”), Alfre Woodard (Oscar-nominee, Emmy and Golden Globe award-winner (Primal Fear, “Desperate Housewives,” “Memphis Beat”), John Leguizamo (Moulin Rouge, The Lincoln Lawyer, “ER”), Beau Bridges (Golden Globe award-winner,The Descendants, “Stargate SG-1,” The Fabulous Baker Boys), Rose Byrne, Golden Globe-nominee (“Damages,” X-Men: First Class), Tony Shalhoub, Golden Globe-winner (“Monk,” Men In Black, “Wings”).

Tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 5th, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa chairs The Creative Coalition Benefit Gala at the DNC featuring a special performance by the world’s greatest party band, The B-52s.
