Des Moines, IA (August 16, 2007) – The Creative Coalition (TCC) is calling upon the 2008 Presidential candidates to make education reform a top platform priority.
In partnership with the Strong American Schools’ “ED in 08” campaign, actors and TCC members Wendie Malick, Maura Tierney, Hill Harper, Ron Livingston,Darrell Smith and Bruce Davison, along with Roy Romer, Chairman of Strong American Schools, will be at the Democratic Presidential Candidate Debate in Des Moines, Iowa on August 19 to promote the critical need for educating our youth to be of top priority for the next President of the United States.
While in Des Moines, The Creative Coalition and ED in ’08 will launch the taping of a PSA campaign designed to bring the issue to the forefront of the national agenda.
