The Creative Coalition’s Gala Benefit Dinner Celebrates Arts in America

Washington, DC, April 28, 2014 – It’s Poliwood time!  The Creative Coalition’s annual Celebration of Arts in America Benefit Dinner — where Hollywood and Politics converge – takes place this Friday evening, May 2nd at STK DC. The annual benefit promotes the charity’s continued support of Arts in America with hosts Drake Bell (“Drake & Josh”), Tim Daly (“Private Practice,” President, The Creative Coalition), Sean Giambrone (“The Goldbergs”), Jonathan Groff  (Frozen), Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild), John Leguizamo (Ice Age), Rose McGowan (“Charmed”), Joe Morton (“Scandal”), Wendi McLendon-Covey (“The Goldbergs”), AnnaSophia Robb (“The Carrie Diaries”), Jeffrey Tambor (“Arrested Development”), Dean Norris (“Breaking Bad”), Mae Whitman (“Parenthood”), Constance Zimmer (“The Newsroom”), and other special guests.  The Honorary Co-Host Committee includes Majority Leader Harry Reid, Senator Barbara Boxer, Senator Richard Burr, Senator Mike Johanns, Senator Tim Johnson, Senator Patrick Leahy, Senator Barbara Mikulski, Senator Lisa Murkowski, Senator Jack Reed, Senator Mark Warner, and Senator Roger Wicker, among others.

The Creative Coalition’s Celebration of Arts in America follows a day of advocacy on Capitol Hill in support of the arts. The evening event continues to raise awareness at A-List Communications’ Supper Suite by STK and will feature menus specially designed by STK DC’s culinary team.  The charity event is graciously supported by STK DC, Fiji Water, Maestro Dobel Tequila, and Blue Moon Brewing.
