The Creative Coalition Launches “Message in a Bottle Campaign”

Sponsored by Lifestyle Beverages’ TrimWater to promote socially conscious films

NEW YORK (September 22, 2008) – The Creative Coalition today launched the “Message in a Bottle” campaign with sponsor Lifestyle Beverages, makers of TrimWater. The effort will celebrate movies with a message and include specially packaged TrimWater bottles to promote the socially conscious films.

The Message in a Bottle Campaign is part of the Spotlight Initiative — a program The Creative Coalition created in 2008 with a unique and specific goal in mind: make a positive difference in the world.

“We are excited to have Lifestyle Beverages as a sponsor in this venture to draw attention to the issues spotlighted by the films,” said Robin Bronk, Executive Director of The Creative Coalition.

The campaign will kick off with specially packaged TrimWater bottles highlighting the recently released Screen Media Films documentary, 14 Women, narrated by legendary actress Annette Bening. When the 109th Congress convened, the number of women in the United States Senate increased to an unprecedented fourteen. 14 Women gives an insider’s look at the most influential women in America and their unique challenges of balancing family and politics.

“I am thrilled to be a part of this campaign,” said Lifestyle Beverages Founder David Sackler. “TrimWater is about helping people to be their best and achieve a healthy lifestyle. Through Message in a Bottle we will help shine a light on films that resonate with audiences and aim to make a difference in the lives of others.”

Other films included in the effort are The Fugees’ Pras Michel’s Skid Row, which addresses America’s homeless, and Big Rig, a documentary addressing the plight of the American trucking industry.
