WHAT:
WWE and The Creative Coalition have joined forces to unveil new anti-bullying initiatives for the be a STAR alliance at WWE’S annual SummerSlam kickoff party taking place at the Andaz Hotel on Thursday, August 11. Red carpet opens at 8 PM.

be a STAR —which stands for ‘Show Tolerance And Respect’—is a new global
anti-bullying alliance co-founded by The Creative Coalition and WWE. The mission of be a STAR is to ensure a positive and equitable social environment for everyone regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation through grassroots efforts beginning with education and awareness. be a STAR promotes positive methods of social interaction and encourages people to treat others as equals and with respect because everyone is a star in their own right.

The Creative Coalition is the premiere nonprofit, nonpartisan social and public advocacy organization of the arts and entertainment community.

The SummerSlam VIP Party kicks off WWE’s takeover of Los Angeles. SummerSlam has become a four-day celebration with various activities throughout Los Angeles culminating with SummerSlam, WWE’s second largest annual pay-per-view, that will take place Sunday, August 14, from the Staples Center.
