The Creative Coalition to Host Forum on America’s Healthcare Crisis

 

Leaders from Policy, Business, Health and Entertainment Come Together to Address Issue
 

HEMPSTEAD, NY (October 10, 2008) – The Creative Coalition, in association with the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, will host a leadership luncheon event next Wednesday afternoon (October 15) in conjunction with the final Presidential Debate.  The event will address the country’s healthcare crisis, including rising costs, access to insurance, shortage of healthcare professionals and prescription drug safety.

WHO:              Hosted by actor and Co-President of The Creative Coalition Tim Daly, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Rachael Leigh Cook, Matthew Modine, Tamara Tunie, Mehcad Brooks and actor/producer/director Giancarlo Esposito.

 

Moderated by television anchor Catherine Crier

 

Panelists include Senior Counsel of healthcare regulatory firm Alston + Bird Tom Scully, bestselling author and journalist Eric Alterman, Center for Health Transformation's Jim Frogue and Biden political strategist Daniel Gotoff.
