Entertainment Leaders Mingle with Candidates at Democratic Debate on Thursday

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (November 14, 2007):  Today, The Creative Coalition brings the sparkle of Hollywood to the Vegas Presidential debates. Look for high profile members of the arts, entertainment, and business arenas amongst audience members.

The Creative Coalition, the leading nonprofit, nonpartisan social and public advocacy organization of the arts and entertainment community brings a delegation to the Cox Pavilion of the University of Nevada. Creative Coalition activities on Thursday include a luncheon with DNC Chairman Howard Dean and a post debate gathering with the candidates and executive staff.  Tonight, along with Sunshine Week, a non-partisan initiative led by the American Society of Newspaper Editors that stresses access to official information for all citizens, The Creative Coalition will host a dinner for Capitol Hill insiders at Nove Italiano Restaurant at the Palms Hotel.

Members of The Creative Coalition attending the Las Vegas debate include actors and Co-Presidents of The Creative Coalition, Joe Pantoliano and Tony Goldwyn, along with actors Tim Daly, Kerry Washington, Maura Tierney, James Denton, Matthew Modine, Richard Schiff, and Hill Harper. Others who are part of the delegation include Craigslist Founder Craig Newmark, bestselling author and columnist Eric Alterman, and writer/producer and political pundit Lawrence O’Donnell Jr.
