New York, NY (January 9, 2019): ACE Pictures Entertainment and Bronwyn Cornelius Productions new film, Clemency, a powerful and poignant female-driven drama, is honored to be selected as a Creative Coalition 2019 Spotlight Initiative Film.

About Clemency
Years of carrying out death row executions have taken a toll on prison warden Bernadine Williams (Alfre Woodard). As she prepares to execute another inmate, Bernadine must confront the psychological and emotional demons her job creates, ultimately connecting her to the man she is sanctioned to kill. Clemency stars Alfre Woodard, Aldis Hodge, Richard Schiff and Wendell Pierce, and is written and directed by Chinonye Chukwu, who was motivated to tell this story after Troy Davis was executed in a Georgia State prison in 2011. The film is produced by Bronwyn Cornelius, Julian Cautherley, and Peter Wong and Timur Bekbosunov of ACE Pictures Entertainment.
